I have changed cables to the printer and interchanged ports on the network switch (verified the ports on the network switch by printing to the LJ 2605) with the same result. Pinging the p2055 produced 4 packets sent, 2 packets received, 2 packets lost, ttl=64 on the 2 returns. Pinging their ip address returns 100% with a ttl=255. There are two other HP printers on the network, a P2015dn and a LJ color 2605dn. When I ping the printer I loose usually half of the packets. Verified ip address by pinging from host. Disconnected usb and reconnected network cable. To verify that the printer was good, I loaded the drivers into my laptop and connected via usb. Set up the printer last night as a network printer (replacing an older LJ 2300dn).

Does it print or do you get the same where nothing happens and it goes back to ready. Then on the printer control panel go to thr reports menu and choose the config page or demo page and hit the enter key to peform the function. If the test is successful, then perform the NVRAM reset with the instructions contained in the attached file.

First perform the engine test instructions contained in the attached file. Take the printer and remove all cables except the power cable and turn the printer off. Unless you are doing something wrong you may have a hardware issue.
